Millthyme Corolla, london 2012 olympic horse, dies at 23

Millthyme Corolla, the British-bred mare who competed at the 2012 London Olympics with rider Andrew Heffernan, was put down last week at the age of 23.

Andrew Heffernan, now the Dutch team coach, said the horse shaped his career. She finished 33rd individually at the Olympics and took part in the 2011 and 2013 European Championships. Her last international competition was in 2017.
