Nike revives black Cortez Tiempo sneaker ahead of World Cup

Nike has re-released its long-tongue Cortez Tiempo sneaker in the original black colorway. The return comes as World Cup 2026 festivities begin. The model draws directly from the brand's Tiempo soccer cleats.

The sneaker features black quilted leather uppers, gum rubber soles and an elongated tongue. It first appeared in 2025 as part of a broader Tiempo pack that included additional Cortez colorways.

It is now available through Billy's website at a price of ¥14,960, equivalent to roughly $93. Earlier Tiempo-inspired releases, such as the Air Max Plus from 2025, helped fuel interest in soccer-styled versions of Nike classics.

The timing aligns with heightened global attention on soccer footwear during the World Cup period.
