Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley will star together again in the upcoming Hulu drama You Deserve to Know. The pair previously played on-and-off lovers on The Vampire Diaries. The new series is currently in development.
Based on Aggie Blum Thompson's 2025 novel of the same name, You Deserve to Know follows three suburban couples whose lives unravel after one husband is murdered. A trail of secrets emerges and friendships fracture as the investigation proceeds.
Dobrev will portray Gwen while Wesley plays Scott. The characters find themselves on opposite sides of the probe, setting up a collision course.
Brian Tanen is writing the series and executive producing with Thompson, Dobrev, Alex Cooper, Aaron Kaplan, Matt Kaplan and Mina Lefevre.
Dobrev and Wesley appeared together for six seasons on The Vampire Diaries from 2009 to 2015.
