Nintendo reveals Switch Sports Resort for Switch 2

Nintendo has announced Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, a new entry in its motion-controlled sports series set to arrive on Switch 2 on 22 October.

The game returns players to Wuhu Island for Joy-Con-based action across 12 sports. Returning activities include boxing, table tennis, archery, tennis, volleyball, bowling, basketball, golf and thumb wrestling. New additions are skateboarding, power cruising and prop plane flying, along with jump rope as a warm-up option. Players can compete solo or with others using either Mii characters or Sportsmate avatars. Pre-orders open on the Nintendo eShop today. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort marks the latest visit to the island first featured in Wii Fit in 2007 and previously central to Wii Sports Resort in 2009.
