Onitsuka Tiger releases MEXICO 66 SABOT mule

Onitsuka Tiger has introduced the MEXICO 66 SABOT, a backless mule version of its classic 1960s training shoe. The new model is now available for purchase directly from the brand.

The shoe reinterprets the heritage MEXICO 66 silhouette as a slip-on clog designed for casual and warm-weather use. It features a coarse mesh upper made from a blend of synthetic and natural fibers for breathability. Six colorways are offered including Birch/Peacoat, Beige/Green, Black/Cream, Crystal Pink/Cream, Oatmeal/Habanero, and Cream/Mustard. Signature Onitsuka Tiger stripes appear on the sides. Inside, the design includes an OrthoLite sockliner for cushioning above a low-profile flexible rubber outsole. The model carries a price of ¥16,500 JPY, or about $103 USD.
