Philadelphia man beaten and robbed after 13-hour shift

A 46-year-old man was assaulted and robbed while walking home from work in south Philadelphia on Friday night. The attack left him with a broken nose and head injuries requiring staples.

German Corona finished his shift at 1000 Oregon Avenue around 10:40 p.m. and began walking north on 10th Street, a route he had taken nightly for a decade. Four juvenile males followed him across Shunk Street before surrounding and attacking him, according to police and video footage from a nearby Ring camera.
