The Premier League has announced the shortlists for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month and Barclays Manager of the Month awards for October 2025. Eight players and four managers were nominated based on their outstanding performances during the month. Fan votes will combine with expert opinions to select the winners.

Player of the Month Nominees
Eight players earned nominations for their contributions in October:
- Matty Cash (Aston Villa): Played 3 matches (W3), scored 1 goal, 1 clean sheet. Cash scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Manchester City, ending their nine-match unbeaten run, and provided a key pass against Tottenham Hotspur.
- Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle United): Played 3 matches (W2 L1), 2 goals. He scored a long-range goal in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest and a 90th-minute winner against Fulham.
- Erling Haaland (Manchester City): Played 3 matches (W2 L1), 3 goals. Haaland netted all three of City's goals, reaching 11 Premier League goals for the season, including a powerful strike in a 1-0 win at Brentford and a double against Everton.
- Junior Kroupi (AFC Bournemouth): Played 2 matches (W1 D1), 3 goals. The 19-year-old scored a brace on his full debut in a 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace and added one in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
- Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United): Played 3 matches (W3), 3 goals, 1 assist. Mbeumo scored in 62 seconds at Liverpool for United's first Anfield win since 2015 and netted twice in a 4-2 victory over Brighton, leading the league with four goal involvements.
- Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland): Played 3 matches (W2 L1), 1 goal, 1 clean sheet. Mukiele scored in a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and used long throws to aid a 2-1 comeback at Chelsea, helping Sunderland to fourth place.

- Jurrien Timber (Arsenal): Played 3 matches (W3), 3 clean sheets. Timber anchored Arsenal's defense in wins over West Ham (2-0), Fulham (1-0), and Crystal Palace (1-0), as the Gunners led the league without conceding.
Previous winners include Jack Grealish (Everton) for August and Erling Haaland (Manchester City) for September.
Manager of the Month Nominees
Four managers were shortlisted:
- Ruben Amorim (Manchester United): 3 wins, +5 goal difference. Amorim secured back-to-back Premier League wins, including a 2-1 victory at Liverpool—the first in nearly 10 years—plus wins over Sunderland (2-0) and Brighton (4-2).
- Mikel Arteta (Arsenal): 3 wins, +4 goal difference. Arteta's side won all three matches without conceding, beating West Ham (2-0), Fulham (1-0), and Crystal Palace (1-0) to lead by four points. Arsenal became the first English team to win six matches across competitions in a month without conceding.
- Unai Emery (Aston Villa): 3 wins, +3 goal difference. Emery turned Villa's season around with wins over Burnley, Tottenham (2-1 comeback), and Manchester City (1-0).
- Andoni Iraola (AFC Bournemouth): 2 wins, 1 draw, +4 goal difference. Iraola extended Bournemouth's unbeaten run to eight league matches, with a 3-1 comeback over Fulham, 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace, and 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest, placing them second.
Prior winners were Arne Slot (Liverpool) for August and Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace) for September.
