Regina Hall joins Dwayne Johnson in Lizard Music film

Regina Hall has joined the cast of the live-action and CGI hybrid film Lizard Music alongside Dwayne Johnson.

The project comes from Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists, with Benny Safdie directing and writing the script. It is based on the Daniel Pinkwater novel of the same name.

Theo Leber stars as a boy who discovers a secret broadcast featuring lizards playing music. Johnson plays an eccentric character known as The Chicken Man, and Hall will portray his friend and co-worker.

Alicia Silverstone and Tim Heidecker are also part of the ensemble cast. Johnson is producing through his Seven Bucks Productions banner along with other producers including Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt.

The story centers on the boy's adventure that leads him to unexpected connections and a hidden world.
