Remi Wolf has returned with her first new song in two years. The track, titled Twiggy, follows her 2024 album Big Ideas and was previewed live at a recent festival.
Remi Wolf debuted Twiggy during a surprise appearance at Hayley Williams' headlining set at the Newport Folk Festival last weekend. The recorded version pairs a warm, finger-picked guitar arrangement with lyrics about a close and complicated relationship.
In a press release, Wolf said, “I wrote Twiggy about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability. And how I like that. Or maybe it’s just about the messiness of addiction? Idk, you decide :)” The vinyl release includes an offline B-side called Tiny Little Twigs (Demo).
Since Big Ideas, Wolf has collaborated with Thundercat and Zedd while performing at multiple festivals. In May she appeared as herself in the season premiere of Off Campus, performing songs from the album.
