Capcom released a free update for Resident Evil Requiem on May 8 that introduces the roguelike action mode Leon Must Die Forever. The patch is available now on all platforms for players who have completed the main story.
The new mode challenges players to clear stages as Leon S. Kennedy while unlocking enhancer abilities. It features fast-paced action distinct from the main campaign, with replay value through time limits and a super difficulty option for experienced players. Capcom also included bug fixes in the update to address issues that could make the game unplayable under certain conditions.
