Restaurant in Borlänge closed briefly after mouse droppings found

A restaurant in Borlänge was forced to close immediately at the end of last week after mouse droppings were discovered during an inspection.

Borlänge municipality's environmental unit ordered the immediate closure after finding extensive traces of mice. The droppings were located behind refrigerators, on shelves, and in cabinets storing kitchen equipment.

Environmental inspector Michael Johansson confirmed that many people came to the site to help with the cleaning. After just two to three hours, the unit gave clearance for the restaurant to reopen.

The inspection took place at the end of last week in line with the municipality's decision.
