Rögle risks losing goalie Arvid Holm before NHL deadline

Rögle faces the potential loss of its starting goaltender Arvid Holm to the NHL just days before the June 15 deadline for signing SHL players. The 27-year-old confirmed interest from North American clubs while training with the team.

Holm returned to Rögle last summer after several years in North America. He has served as the club's primary goaltender for the past two seasons and played a key role in its SM-silver finish this spring.

Speaking to HD, Holm said interest exists but his situation remains uncertain. "Det finns lite intresse – absolut," he stated, adding that he sees himself as a Rögle player for next season as of Thursday lunch and holds a contract with the club.

Rögle has reportedly reached an agreement with goaltender Calle Clang, who belongs to the Anaheim organization, though confirmation awaits the deadline's passing. Holm declined to discuss specific offers, noting his agents handle those details.
