Sören Hedlund receives one krona in electricity support

Sören Hedlund, 68, in Toftbyn has received one krona in electricity support for his property. He heard about another person receiving two kronor and called in to P4 Dalarna.

In early May the government decided to pay electricity support to Swedish households. The aid aims to help with high electricity bills from January and February.

Försäkringskassan began disbursing the funds in June. Some recipients have received very low amounts.

Sören Hedlund runs a farm and uses little electricity in his property. This resulted in support of only one krona. He received somewhat more for his home.

He has not decided how to spend the krona. He suggested that amounts under one hundred kronor perhaps should not be paid out.
