The new student admission system for senior high schools at Sekolah Maung in West Java officially started on May 18 2026 with three registration pathways.
Head of the West Java Education Office Purwanto said registration is conducted online through the Sekolah Maung application. Accounts are issued to prospective students from May 18 to 22 2026 while main registration is scheduled for May 25 26 28 and 29.
The three available pathways are academic potential with a 10 percent quota academic competence at 70 percent and non-academic competence at 20 percent. Purwanto stressed there is no zoning pathway at Sekolah Maung.
Prospective students must meet a maximum age of 21 years on July 1 2026 and submit documents such as a family card and a recommendation letter from their original school. Announcement of accepted students is scheduled for June 8 2026.
