Stellar Blade CEO addresses sequel protagonist concerns

Shift Up CEO Hyung-tae Kim responded to fan complaints about the new protagonist in the upcoming Stellar Blade sequel during a recent interview.

Kim spoke with IGN about Stellar Blade: Blood Rain after its trailer debuted at Summer Game Fest on June 5. He acknowledged that the character Evie is younger, smaller in size and shorter than the original game's Eve. Kim emphasized that Evie has a stronger personality and takes part in tougher battles as part of a special squad chasing terrorists. He said fans who play the game will see her as a lovable character beyond her physical appearance. The CEO also commented on new outfits for Evie, stating they will be even more appealing. Kim directed the original Stellar Blade, which released in 2024.
