Stephen Lang joins cast of supernatural horror Mercy Good

Actor Stephen Lang has joined the cast of the upcoming supernatural horror film Mercy Good. The movie is directed by Kevin Lewis and produced by Stoic Films.

Lang will portray Henry Woodward, a local historian in Salem, Massachusetts. The character possesses knowledge of the town's dark history that proves crucial to a family facing supernatural threats. The story follows the family as they move to Salem seeking a new beginning. They soon learn their historic home connects to an ancient supernatural force. Filming is scheduled to start in Kentucky in September. Michael Caissie wrote the script and is producing alongside Clayton Turnage. Caissie praised Lang's ability to deliver intelligence and emotional depth. Executive producers include Monika Simeonova, Jeffrey Goldberg, and Chris Cole.
