Tesla has started the wide rollout of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) version 14.1.5 to Cybertruck owners through software update 2025.38.8.5. This marks the first deployment of FSD v14 on the electric pickup, following refinements for its unique hardware. The update introduces enhanced navigation and parking options tailored to the vehicle's capabilities.
On November 3, 2025, Tesla initiated the broad release of software update 2025.38.8.5, which includes Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.1.5, to Cybertruck owners. This rollout comes about a month after v14 began deploying to other Tesla models, with Cybertruck receiving it later due to necessary adaptations for its all-wheel steering system, larger size, and differently positioned exterior cameras. Tesla AI chief Ashok Elluswamy had indicated a late October launch, but it arrived slightly delayed, starting Sunday evening as confirmed by lead Cybertruck engineer Wes Morrill.
Owners quickly shared confirmations on X. Whole Mars Catalog posted, 'Tesla Self-Driving 14.1.5 for Cybertruck rolling out now! Too bad I just left for Austin,' with a screenshot. Chuck Cook noted, 'So look what I just got on my @cybertruck! FSD v14.1.5,' highlighting the rapid detection via Tesla's API. Morrill added, 'Can confirm – arrived last night,' linking to further details.
The release notes detail key additions: Arrival Options allow selection of parking in a lot, on the street, in a driveway, parking garage, or curbside, influencing routes from the trip's start. Other features include yielding to emergency vehicles like police cars and ambulances, real-time navigation for blocked roads and detours via the vision-based neural network, an additional Speed Profile for customized driving, improved handling of gates, road debris such as tires and branches, unprotected turns, lane changes, vehicle cut-ins, and school buses. FSD also better manages system faults for reliability and alerts for interior windshield residue affecting camera visibility.
This update advances Tesla's autonomy goals, reducing interventions by planning arrivals proactively. For Cybertruck, the calibrations ensure safe performance despite its distinct design compared to the S3XY lineup.
