Tesla has officially confirmed that Actually Smart Summon is coming to the Cybertruck. The driverless parking lot feature will arrive shortly via over-the-air software update for owners with the Full Self-Driving package.
Tesla announced the news on social media on June 10. The feature, known by its acronym ASS, lets owners use the Tesla mobile app to summon their vehicle autonomously through a parking lot to their location or a designated spot. The update follows the release of FSD version 14.3.3, which boosts the top speed of Summon by about 33 percent to 13 kilometres per hour. It also refines reverse maneuvers from tight spots. Cybertruck owners faced delays because engineers needed to adapt the system for the vehicle's steer-by-wire setup, size, and weight. Tesla said the rollout would happen shortly but gave no exact date or software version.
