A man in his mid-20s was shot dead on Friday evening in Hässelby, western Stockholm. Three teenagers have been detained on suspicion of involvement.
The shooting took place just before 8 p.m. on Friday outdoors in a residential area. The man was taken by ambulance helicopter to hospital but his life could not be saved.
Witness Zara was in the area with her nieces and nephews and her ten-month-old son in a stroller. She heard a shot and saw a man shooting at another.
– I told them, now we run. And they were so good. They just ran, says Zara.
Police announced on Saturday that three men in their teens have been detained, two under 18 and one 19 years old. The prosecutor must by Tuesday at the latest request them detained or release them.
