The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a new three-year, $75 million contract with center Isaiah Hartenstein. The deal was reported by ESPN on Friday night and keeps the 27-year-old in Oklahoma City.
Hartenstein averaged 9.2 points and 9.4 rebounds during the regular season and posted 9.1 points with 8.3 rebounds in the playoffs. The flat contract carries an annual salary of $25 million and includes no raises.
The move preserves the Thunder's frontcourt depth and versatility ahead of another Western Conference campaign. Hartenstein provides rebounding, post defense, and playmaking that complement Chet Holmgren.
Oklahoma City still faces decisions on team options for Luguentz Dort and Kenrich Williams as it works to stay near or below the second apron.
