Tom Hardy to release rap album with Czarface

Actor Tom Hardy will issue his first full rap album under the Frankie Pulitzer alias in collaboration with the group Czarface. The project, titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, is scheduled for release on Aug. 28. A new single from the album appeared on June 25.

The album pairs Hardy with Czarface members Inspectah Deck and Esoteric. On the track “Brothers Grimm,” Hardy raps the line “You coppin’ lead when I’m dropping it” over a 1990s-style East Coast beat.

Hardy previously appeared on Czarface releases. He contributed to the 2021 Good Guys, Bad Guys EP and joined Method Man on the track “Knull & Void.” The new album will also feature Method Man, El-O, and Busta Rhymes.

Hardy first discussed a teenage rap deal in 2011. A 2018 mixtape recorded under the name Tommy No 1 later surfaced online.
