Twin sisters charged with stalking jail employees in Kentucky

Twin sisters in Louisville, Kentucky, face stalking and harassment charges after allegedly targeting staff at a local jail for months. The women are accused of sending threatening messages and monitoring employees outside the facility.

Kevonne Gore and Shavonne Gore, both 40, were booked into the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on Thursday. Police said the sisters had spent long periods outside the jail watching and recording staff as they arrived and left for work.

The pair stand charged with second-degree stalking and harassment without physical contact. Kevonne Gore also faces a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance. They pleaded not guilty at their arraignments, with bonds set at $10,000 each.

Authorities reported that the women sent messages including a photo of an officer's home accompanied by the text, "I will find you, one way or another." They also allegedly left a black rose on an officer's vehicle and created a social media account using an officer's daughter's nickname to send further messages.

The sisters are scheduled to return to court on July 27.
