The U.S. men's national soccer team has revealed its official kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, designed with Nike. The jerseys center on a patriotic stars-and-stripes design, with bespoke jacquard stars on darker versions and gradient stripes on lighter ones.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to begin in June, will be hosted across 16 cities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada—the first time the tournament involves three nations and features 48 teams. On March 16, 2026, the U.S. men's soccer team unveiled its new uniforms in collaboration with Nike, which include two main jerseys alongside a goalkeeper kit. The color palette incorporates red, blue, navy, and deep obsidian hues, with all pieces using Nike's Dri-FIT ADV technology for breathability and performance. Players contributed feedback during design, covering aspects like fabric weight and seam placement to optimize on-field use. Tyler Adams, a midfielder for the team, stated, 'We wanted something we could coexist with, and that would express who we are as a team.' Oguchi Onyewu, U.S. Soccer's assistant sporting director, added, 'This kit symbolizes the unity of our entire system. It carries the pride of a nation and the honor of representing the United States on the world’s biggest stage.' The uniforms debut on June 23, 2026, when the U.S. faces Paraguay at Los Angeles Stadium during the Men's World Cup. They will then be used by all 27 U.S. national teams. Fans can purchase authentic match jerseys, matching player technology, or more affordable stadium jerseys via Nike and the U.S. Soccer store. Ronnie J. Stewart, Nike's global product director, noted, 'I think between both kits there is something for everybody. If you want to be loud and proud and represent the crest, no one’s going to doubt who you’re there for in the light kit. If you’re looking for that lifestyle look that works off the pitch, the dark is for you.' A streetwear-inspired release is planned later in spring.
