Westerholm twins set to join Vålerenga in Norway

Pathrik and Pontus Westerholm will continue their careers in Norway after agreeing terms with Vålerenga. The twins leave Finnish club Lukko after four seasons.

The Westerholm brothers had been linked with moves to Swedish Allsvenskan side Oskarshamn. Instead, reports indicate they have reached an agreement to play for the Norwegian club.

Both players bring extensive SHL experience from stints with Brynäs, Frölunda and Malmö. They spent the last four seasons together at Lukko in Finland.

Vålerenga already features several Swedish connections. Assistant coach Fredrik Glader is joined by players Markus Modig, who extended his contract this week, and Henrik Larsson.
