Jamhuri Day

President William Ruto led the Jamhuri Day celebrations as Kenya marks 62 years since gaining independence. The events at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi also served to remember the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who passed away on October 15, 2025. Similar festivities took place in various counties including Siaya, Nyeri, Garissa and Homa Bay.
