Expressens jury har kåret sosialdemokraten Aida Birinxhiku til vinner av listen over unge makthavere. Hun er stortingsrepresentant fra Halland og ble valgt inn i 2022 som det yngste medlemmet, 23 år gammel.

Birinxhiku, som er utdannet jurist og oppvokst i Falkenberg, trekkes frem som en mulig statsråd i en S-ledet regjering. Hun sitter i næringskomiteen, miljø- og landbrukskomiteen samt EU-nemnda.

Hun understreket sitt engasjement for endring. "Det viktige for meg er at jeg vil være med på å gjøre en forskjell, ikke fordi jeg vil ha en bestemt post", sa Birinxhiku.
