Amhara national movement to fulfill role in democratic elections

The chairman of the Amhara National Movement said the party will play its expected role to ensure the seventh general election is conducted democratically.

The Amhara National Movement held a discussion forum in Addis Ababa on preparations for the upcoming seventh general election and current national and regional issues.

Party chairman Dr. Belete Molla stated that a democratic election strengthens public benefits. He noted that sustainable peace and development remain the party's top priorities.

The movement is presenting its policy alternatives to the public. It also discussed its expected role in election and post-election matters to ensure lasting national progress.
