APC Delta Mandate passes vote of confidence on Tinubu, Oborevwori

Members of the APC Delta Mandate have unanimously passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori during a meeting in Asaba on July 16, 2026.

The motion was moved by former Delta State House of Assembly Speaker Emmanuel Okoro and seconded by Ferguson Onwo. It received unanimous approval through a voice vote led by group National President Isaac Anwuzia at Onwo's residence in the Legislative Quarters.

Anwuzia urged members to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections and maintain unity to secure victories for Tinubu, Oborevwori and other APC candidates. He stated that the group's message is one of single-party mobilisation to deliver the APC across Delta State.

Delta State APC Chairman Solomon Areyenka praised the group for promoting the achievements of both leaders. APC House of Representatives candidate Ndudi Elumelu called for reconciliation within the party and warned against anti-party activities by appointees and officials.
