Authorities identified the young man found dead in a rural area of Algeciras as Kevin Dayan Lozada Ibarra.
Kevin Dayan Lozada Ibarra, originally from Popayán, was a final-semester student of Telematics Engineering at Universidad del Cauca.
The young man was on vacation and had traveled to the municipality of Algeciras to work in coffee harvesting.
He was murdered in the La Palomera sector, in the Quebradón village, apparently by FARC dissidents.
His relatives are calling for justice and note that he was seeking honest work during his vacation.
Authorities continue investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
