Bandung Regency's Transportation Agency (Dishub) reported that the peak mudik traffic on the Nagreg route matched predictions from the Ministry of Transportation and police. Public relations officer Eric Alam stated that by 2 p.m. WIB on March 19, 2026, 98,000 vehicles had passed based on their traffic counting. This marked a significant rise from 71,000 vehicles at the same time the previous day, averaging 7,000 vehicles per hour that day. Alam believes the 24-hour total will surpass Wednesday's. Two-wheeled vehicles dominated at 69 percent, despite free mudik programs. Peak density occurred from after sahur to 8 a.m. WIB, eased temporarily, then rose from 2 p.m. to iftar. Travelers from Jakarta, Bekasi, Tangerang, and Bogor typically departed after iftar, arriving at Nagreg around midnight to 2 a.m. Eric Alam said, 'This is proven by the traffic counting we conducted at Nagreg, that today up to 2 p.m. WIB, 98,000 vehicles have passed Nagreg.'
