A week after her concert in Grenoble was interrupted, DJ Barbara Butch performed without incident on Saturday evening in Yonne before around 400 people.
The concert took place on Saturday evening in the village of Saint-Martin-du-Tertre during a local mini-festival. It was the artist's last scheduled date this summer.
The performance proceeded without contestation despite a boycott call from the local branch of La France Insoumise. A reinforced security setup had been arranged by the organizers.
Barbara Butch told the crowd: « Je suis contente d'être là ». Spectators held signs reading « Barbara, on t'aime » signed by the Union of Jewish Students of France.
A week earlier in Grenoble, her concert had been interrupted by projectile throws according to the city hall, which announced it would file a complaint. The artist promised a complaint against La France Insoumise for incitement to hatred and violence.
