Rafael Benitez has expressed willingness to take charge of Scotland's national team. The former Liverpool manager said he remains open to international roles following Steve Clarke's resignation.
Scotland are seeking a replacement after Clarke stepped down following the team's group-stage exit at the World Cup. The side secured a first World Cup win since 1990 against Haiti but lost to Morocco and Brazil.
Benitez, who most recently managed Panathinaikos, told Sky Sports News he is "open to international football." He highlighted the differences from club management, noting the motivation of players representing their country.
Asked about the Scotland vacancy, Benitez replied: "I'm open to all the good countries, yes." Scotland are due to return to action in the UEFA Nations League in September with a trip to Slovenia.
