Butterfly Soup developer announces The Crane Rider’s Tale

Brianna Lei, creator of the 2017 visual novel Butterfly Soup, has revealed her next project. The Crane Rider’s Tale is a murder mystery adventure game styled after Chinese folktales.

The game places players in the role of Mourn-No-More, who travels on a giant crane named Snowfall. After the mysterious death of a friend named Peach Blossom, the protagonist solves the case by ferrying townsfolk and gathering clues through timed choices.
