Charlie Fleming expresses pride over James Graham coming out

Sparkle artist Charlie Fleming said she was surprised but proud of former co-star James Graham’s decision to come out as gay during an interview at the launch of her new Metro Manila Film Festival movie entry “Haunted Carnival.”

Fleming noted that she had not expected Graham’s self-revelation despite knowing him for a long time. She expressed support for his move to the United States to pursue studies and his choice to live openly.

“I’m just proud that he’s chasing his dreams in the US studying and that he’s becoming the person he wants to become,” Fleming said. She added that Graham has shown courage in sharing his identity despite potential judgment from the world.

The pair previously worked together on GMA shows including “Royal Blood” in 2023 and “Widows’ War” in 2024. They also collaborated on TikTok trends and were often seen together. Fleming described Graham as a soft-spoken and kind friend. The two no longer communicate directly but remain connected through mutual friends and social media.
