Christian Wallace to adapt George Washington's Secret Six for film

Christian Wallace, co-creator of Landman, will write the screenplay for a feature film adaptation of the book George Washington’s Secret Six by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger. The project centers on the Culper Spy Ring from the American Revolutionary War.

The film is planned as a historical espionage thriller. It will highlight the roles of ordinary citizens in the spy network, including a Quaker merchant, a tavern keeper, a longshoreman, a Long Island bachelor, a coffee house owner, and a female operative. Wallace stated that the timing aligns with the approaching 250th anniversary of American independence. He described the story as one of quiet courage and sacrifice by citizens under British occupation. Kilmeade expressed hope that the adaptation will honor the unrecognized contributions of those involved. The book has been a New York Times bestseller with more than one million copies sold worldwide. Producers include John Middleton, Rosanna Grace, Nicole Tabs, and Sam Moazami. The team will next seek a director and cast for the project.
