Christian Wallace, co-créateur de Landman, écrira le scénario de l'adaptation cinématographique du livre George Washington’s Secret Six, écrit par Brian Kilmeade et Don Yaeger. Le projet se concentre sur le Culper Spy Ring durant la guerre d'indépendance américaine.

Le film est conçu comme un thriller d'espionnage historique. Il mettra en lumière le rôle de citoyens ordinaires au sein du réseau d'espionnage, notamment un marchand quaker, un tenancier de taverne, un docker, un célibataire de Long Island, un propriétaire de café et une agente. Wallace a indiqué que le calendrier coïncidait avec l'approche du 250e anniversaire de l'indépendance américaine. Il a décrit l'histoire comme un récit de courage discret et de sacrifice de citoyens sous l'occupation britannique. Kilmeade a exprimé l'espoir que l'adaptation rendra hommage aux contributions méconnues des personnes impliquées. Le livre a été un best-seller du New York Times avec plus d'un million d'exemplaires vendus dans le monde. Parmi les producteurs figurent John Middleton, Rosanna Grace, Nicole Tabs et Sam Moazami. L'équipe partira prochainement à la recherche d'un réalisateur et d'une distribution pour le projet.
