Meldingen om eksplosjonen kom klokken 23.55 natt til søndag i en boligblokk i Norra Sofielund i Malmö. Politi og redningstjeneste er på stedet og har sperret av et område på cirka 30 meter rundt trappeoppgangen.

Redningstjenesten kunne gå inn i bygningen omtrent en time etter varselet for å undersøke. Ingen ambulanse er tilkalt til stedet, ifølge Sydsvenskan.

"Det er en mistenkt eksplosjon. Det er ingen meldinger om brann eller personskader," sier Linus Steffensen, vakthavende befal ved redningstjenesten. Bombeteknikere er på vei til stedet, melder avisen.
