The Attorney General's Office confirmed that Attorney General ST Burhanuddin accepted Febrie Adriansyah's resignation from the position of Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office Anang Supriatna stated the institution respects the decision. He confirmed that all duties and case handling in the Jampidsus environment continue normally according to applicable mechanisms.
Anang explained the resignation is a form of commitment to maintain integrity, objectivity, and neutrality amid the legal process handled by Polri investigators. The Attorney General's Office invites all parties to respect the ongoing legal process and the presumption of innocence.
Previously, Febrie was linked to investigations into three corruption cases involving searches at 12 locations since Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
