Florida man charged with murdering best friend over vaping

A 28-year-old Florida man has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting his best friend and roommate in the back of the head during a dispute over vaping inside their home.

Elisha Christopher Landry was arrested this week and charged in the death of 34-year-old Shaun Allen Hennigh. Authorities say the shooting occurred on April 17 at a residence on Tangerine Avenue South in Gulfport. Landry allegedly dragged the body into the garage and waited more than four hours before calling 911 at around 5 a.m., according to a probable cause affidavit from the Gulfport Police Department.
