Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka received student representatives from two universities at the Vice Presidential Palace on Monday, June 15, 2026.
During the closed meeting, Gibran acknowledged many shortcomings in government program implementation. He invited students and the public to jointly oversee and improve policies deemed not yet optimal.
Gibran stated that all inputs would serve as material for government consideration. Students discussed the Free Nutritious Meals program, Red and White Village Cooperatives, education, regulatory revisions, and equitable development.
BEM Coordinator of Universitas Bung Karno Muhammad Abdi Maludin assessed that Gibran was open to receiving study results. Acting Vice Presidential Secretary Al Muktabar said student aspirations would be followed up according to authority.
