Designer Hed Mayner presented his spring 2027 menswear collection, emphasizing fabrics and minimal forms during a show at Cercle des Armées.
Hed Mayner focused on unconventional materials such as densely woven white nylon mesh and jute canvas coated with white paint to create a craquelure effect. The designer described the approach as cleansing the work to make it more sharp and clear while remaining maximalist in touch.
He showed pieces in serene colors including sky blue, pale yellow, ecru, and rust. Highlights included a jute top with trumpet sleeves paired with burgundy vegan leather trousers, an ecru cotton canvas parka, and a kimono-like jute trench coat.
Accessories featured cloud-like fabric bracelets, Joaneta sneakers made with Barcelona-based Aro, and a collaboration with Tuscan shoemaker Strulini that produced sky blue Oxfords and suede moccasins. Mayner said he aims to stay positive by living in his own world.
