Heroes returns to Netflix with all four seasons

The superhero drama Heroes is back on Netflix after a lengthy absence. All four seasons are now available to stream.

The series about ordinary people discovering superpowers debuted in 2006 and earned eight Emmy nominations along with strong ratings for its first season.

It left Netflix in 2016 after previously finding an audience there. The show later appeared on Peacock from its 2020 launch until its removal in 2025.

Creator Tim Kring expressed satisfaction with the initial season in an interview. "I'm never 100 percent satisfied with anything," he said. "But I was pretty pleased that we were able to wrap up that much story."

Production challenges including the 2007-2008 WGA strike affected later seasons, contributing to the show's cancellation after its fourth season in 2010.
