Jill Biden says she does not know if Biden could serve another term

Former first lady Jill Biden said in recent interviews that she does not know whether her husband would have been able to serve a second term if reelected in 2024.

In a Tuesday interview on MSNBC, Jill Biden was asked if Joe Biden would have been physically capable of serving another four years. She replied that she did not know the answer. During an appearance on The View, Biden said no aides or doctors had warned her about her husband's cognitive decline. She also stated that White House doctors missed his advanced prostate cancer because guidelines did not recommend PSA tests for men over 70. Biden recounted that doctors examined her husband moments after his June 27, 2024, debate with Donald Trump. She said she had feared he was having a stroke but later learned he was fine. She added that she still believes Joe Biden would have defeated Trump in the election. President Trump responded on Truth Social that she should have helped her husband on stage if she believed he was ill.
