Jupiter Wagons reports sharp drop in March quarter profit

Jupiter Wagons posted a 72 percent decline in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. Revenue fell 25 percent year over year as the company faced weaker demand.

The company reported consolidated profit after tax of Rs 29 crore for the three months ended March. Revenue came in at Rs 780 crore, down from the same period a year earlier. EBITDA also declined 46 percent during the quarter.
