K-pop girl group Le Sserafim will release its second studio album, "Pureflow pt. 1," next month, the group and its agency Source Music announced on April 13. The album is set for May 22 at 1 p.m. Korean time through major online music services, following the lead single "Celebration" on April 24. It marks the quintet's first full-length album in nearly three years since "Unforgiven" in 2023.
Le Sserafim announced the new album on the K-pop fan community platform Weverse. According to its agency Source Music, "Pureflow pt. 1" explores the change and growth the five members experienced by confronting fear and finding strength.
The group debuted in 2022 with the message "We are strong because we have no fear," but the upcoming album offers a more mature perspective: that understanding fear has made them even stronger.
Ahead of the album, the lead single "Celebration," a song about celebrating the moment of gaining strength to embrace change, will be unveiled on April 24.
Le Sserafim gained global recognition last October when its first single album "Spaghetti" reached No. 50 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and No. 46 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.
