Lords of the Fallen II delayed to early 2027

CI Games has postponed the release of Lords of the Fallen II from fall 2026 to the first quarter of 2027. The decision aims to avoid a crowded release schedule that includes Grand Theft Auto VI.

Studio CEO Marek Tyminski announced the delay on X on June 23. He cited input from the Gameplay Feedback Team and the need for more time to refine the game.

"These enhancements will benefit from additional integration, iteration, and polishing time, enabling the team to deliver the highest possible quality at launch," Tyminski wrote. The updated window also moves the title away from September and October 2026, when many other games are scheduled.

A gameplay trailer for the dark fantasy action RPG appeared at Summer Game Fest and drew strong interest on Steam. The sequel follows the 2023 original and remains in development by CI Games.
