Monica Raymund directs Dexter spin-off episodes

Monica Raymund, best known for playing Gabriela Dawson on Chicago Fire, directed multiple episodes of Dexter: Resurrection and Dexter: Original Sin.

Raymund helmed four episodes of Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 in 2025. The series earned a 95 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

She also directed episodes of Dexter: Original Sin Season 1, which aired from late 2024 to early 2025 before cancellation. The prequel remained popular with fans.

Raymund made her directorial debut on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2018. She later directed episodes of FBI, including a 2020 crossover with Chicago P.D.

In a 2020 interview, Raymund said directing under pressure brings her peace. "My ego gets out of the way and all that matters is getting the essential moments," she stated.
