The expansion Ascendance will introduce the Skybound Eyrie region with sky islands and floating ruins. It will feature the return of elder dragons such as Kushala Daora and the monster Lao-Shan Lung, along with Master Rank quests and a new Booster Bracer mechanic. Ascendance is scheduled for 2027 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Capcom ended the game's free content updates at the end of 2025 after earlier performance patches and event additions.
