Nytt samarbeid mot telefonsvindel lansert

Det svenske politiet (Polismyndigheten) og Post- og teletilsynet (PTS) lanserer et samarbeid for å stoppe telefonsvindel. Operatører skal blokkere anrop og SMS basert på trafikkmønstre.

Det svenske politiet og Post- og teletilsynet arbeider med det nye samarbeidet på oppdrag fra regjeringen. Det bygger på ny lovgivning som pålegger operatører ansvar for å gripe inn mot svindeltrafikk.

Lena Nyberg, generaldirektør i PTS, sier at samarbeidet styrker brukerbeskyttelsen og gjør det vanskeligere for kriminelle. Mats Berggren ved politiets nasjonale operative avdeling understreker at suksess betyr at SMS eller anrop aldri når målet.

Operatører vil særlig overvåke mønstre der numre kontakter mange mottakere samtidig. Initiativet ble presentert 27. juni 2026.
