Nordic Industries Holding tar over støperi i Guldsmedshyttan

Nordic Industries Holding blir den nye eieren av Baettr i Guldsmedshyttan AB. Virksomheten får navnet Nordic Casting AB, og smelteovnene skal varmes opp igjen.

Nordic Industries Holding tar over støperiet og industriområdet i Guldsmedshyttan. Den tidligere eieren, Baettr, la ned driften etter den siste støpingen i oktober i fjor.

Daglig leder Monica Joon sier at selskapet allerede kutter metallskrap som smeltes av en ekstern aktør. Nå skal smeltingen foregå på stedet.

Anlegget skal ikke støpe de samme produktene som før, men vil fortsette med en form for metallsmelting. Monica Joon beskriver overtakelsen som noe de er svært glade for og stolte av.
